The technical data of the Benq HT3050 includes 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 as well as a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. According to Benq, the included lamp lasts up to 3500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projector Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
