A projector from Benq is the GP2, whose DLP model delivers 200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 2400:1. Benq lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 144 cm can be illuminated with 200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 96 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
