Model Overview

The basic data of the Sony VPL VW 10 HT includes 1000 ANSI lumens and a resolution of WXGA 1366 x 768. According to Sony, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours.
For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator.
Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm.
This model dates back to 2000 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.

Still top !!!

Have owned the Sony for a long time and can only agree with the comments of the previous speakers. Top device, real 16/9 panel, great picture via the component connection! (HDMI was not yet available at the time. All in all, still my recommendation today, as you won‘t find anything better in this price range!

Super device

I have owned the VPL-VW10HT since 10/2000 and am very satisfied. 95 points only because it unfortunately does not yet offer full HD 1920 x 1080 and has no HDMI input, as neither was standard at the time. The picture is still great and very natural. No problems with difficult displays and extreme contrast. The only problem is getting a replacement dust filter. I have already cut one myself as the old one has disintegrated.
