The VPL SW526C model is a LED-LCD projector from Sony, intended for Whiteboard applications, offering 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
