Model Overview

The basic data of the Sony VPL CW255 includes 4500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 as well as a contrast of 3700:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary.
Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator.
Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 455 cm.
For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
