The technical data of the Sony VPL SX536 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. According to Sony, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projector Calculator. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 68 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
