The equipment of the Sony VPL-EW435 projector includes 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 with a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 566 cm can be illuminated with 3100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 377 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
