The Barco G62-W14 is a 3D-DLP projector offering 11500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. This model is available with either a black or white housing. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 11500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1090 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 727 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
