Based on DLP technology, the Barco FS33 IR 1080p device delivers 1200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 4000:1 as a projector. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 100000 hours of runtime – equivalent to a usable life of 68.5 years at 4 hours a day. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 235 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
