Based on DLP technology, the Barco Bragi Cinemascope projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 2100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 450:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 50000 hours – calculating to 34.2 years at four hours of use per day. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 466 cm can be illuminated with 2100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 311 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances.
