As a projector for the Event sector, the Barco HDF W30 FLEX is equipped with 28000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 2200:1. According to Barco, the included lamp lasts up to 600 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 28000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1700 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1133 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
