The Barco FL40-WU MKII is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector offering 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 50000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 34.2 years at 4 hours a day. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 538 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 359 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. A massive advantage for fixed installations is the HDBaseT interface, which transmits video, audio, and control signals losslessly over long cable runs.
