As a projector, the Barco DP2K 20C combines DLP technology with a resolution of HD2K 2048 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 18000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 18000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1168 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 779 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
