The FL40-4K MKII is a 3D-DLP projector by Barco, whose specifications list 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 and a WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 50000 hours for the LED light source. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 34.2 years possible. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables.
