As a projector, the Barco G60-W7 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 7000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. This model is available with either a black or white housing. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
