The MGP 15 - DICOM THEATER Pro model from Barco combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a native SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
