The projector EMP 9300 by Epson utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 at a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 7000 hours, which amounts to roughly 9.6 years at 2 hours of daily use. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
