As a projector, the Epson EB-109W combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 15000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
