Based on LCD technology, the Epson EMP 9000 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 1700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 200:1 and a SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 349 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 233 cm. This model dates back to 1999 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
