With the SX 860, Everest offers a LCD projector that features 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Everest.
