Based on LCD technology, the Everest A500U device delivers 5500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 50000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 20000 hours for this projector's lamp. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 27.4 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 5500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 502 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device.
