Based on LCD technology, the Everest EX 27020 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 272 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Everest.
