Designed for the Short Distance sector, the CR531W model from Everest features 3300 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 10000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 96 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
