The Everest EX 28030 is a LCD projector that brings 3000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 500:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Everest.
