Designed for the Short Distance sector, the C741W model from Everest features 4500 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 500000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 20000 hours, which amounts to roughly 27.4 years at 2 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 54 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 682 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 455 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Everest.
