The PA500U model from Everest combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 47 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
