According to Sanyo, the PLV Z800 model provides 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 10000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Projector Calculator is recommended. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 235 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

Unfortunately, the projector is now so broken after a good four years that it is certainly not worth repairing and can no longer be used. What a pity!

Simply good.
Now its here, my new one, and...
Simply super.
My old one was the Epson EMP TW680 and it already had a very good picture.
It was replaced with a Sanyo PLV Z800. The first thing you notice immediately is the difference between HD and Full HD. The colors are just great and the 1200 ANSI lumens are more than enough. And then there is the volume, which you can really only perceive in very quiet moments, so its really whisper-quiet for great home theater evenings. There were two more points that helped me in my decision. Point one, the automatic lens protection and point two, the possibility to clean the LCD panels from the outside. I had this problem with my Epson, and by cleaning it, I unfortunately sent it to the great beyond (unfortunately). I can recommend this projector to anyone.

Very good price-performance ratio.
A first-class HD projector. Very good price-performance ratio. I use it for gaming on my PS3 and of course for Blu-ray movies. Ive been very satisfied for 1300 hours. Before that, I had a few other projectors and I have to say that this one is really awesome. I can only recommend it to everyone.
