The hardware properties of the PLV 1P manufactured by Sanyo include 270 ANSI lumens, a resolution and a contrast value of 100:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1000 hours. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. Regarding projection size, the value of 270 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 143 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 95 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Sanyo's current lineup.
