Known as the PLC XU111, this LCD projector by Sanyo features basic specs of 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 2500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.

The device delivers a performance that would have been unthinkable from such a compact housing just a few years ago. I mainly use the device for home theater. In living rooms that are not completely darkened, the home cinema specialists with their high contrast values are no good at all. The high light output of the Sanyo in combination with the very credible colors is an absolute advantage, especially with HD playback. An absolute recommendation!
