The PLC XP41E is a LCD projector by Sanyo, whose specifications list 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 550:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 500 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 333 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
