As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Sanyo PLC XW56 is equipped with 2000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 400:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
