Based on LCD technology, the Sanyo PLC XU55 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Sanyo, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 290 cm. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.
