Based on LCD technology, the Panasonic PT-MZ17KL device delivers 16500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 3000000:1 as a projector. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 16500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1305 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 870 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
