The basic data of the Panasonic PT DZ780 includes 7000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 as well as a contrast of 3000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Distance Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 7000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 567 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range.
