Known as the PT D9510E, this DLP projector by Panasonic features basic specs of 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 871 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 581 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
