Known as the PT D12000E, this DLP projector by Panasonic features basic specs of 12000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 at a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 12000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 954 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 636 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
