The projector X1629H by Acer utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 682 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 455 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Since entering the market in 2021, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
