With the X1230S, Acer offers a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 2400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 427 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 285 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
