The projector PD525PW by Acer operates as a LED-DLP device with 2700 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. According to Acer, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 453 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 302 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
