Designed for the Homecinema sector, the X1-4K Pro model from Viewsonic features 2500 ANSI lumens, a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3500000:1. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 60000 hours – calculating to 41.1 years at four hours of use per day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media.
