The PX704HD is a DLP projector by Viewsonic, whose specifications list 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 22000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2025, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
