A projector from LG is the PA1000, whose DLP model delivers 1000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 100000:1. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by LG. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
