The basic data of the LG Hecto includes 2000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 10000000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 25000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 46 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 25 decibels. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by LG.
