Categorized in the High-End Homecinema segment, the Cinebeam AU810PW Forza projector from LG projects with a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution, alongside 2700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 528 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 352 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for optional Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by LG.

Due to its small optics, it is unfortunately not the perfect projector, as the edge-to-edge sharpness is absolutely subterranean. Not so bad with films in 1:2.35 widescreen format, but with 1:1.85 (16:9) you can see the blurring. Simply bad for the price. It is absolutely not suitable for desktop/PC use. You can‘t find a compromise for the sharpness either, it just hurts your eyes. Too bad. It can be used for filming, as it delivers beautiful colors when adjusted, works quietly and is very flexible thanks to its lens shift. The intermediate image calculation is exemplary. The Web OS and Smart TV features make it suitable for everyday use and user-friendly. 3D is omitted, which is a shame for movie fans who watch on screens. Not a problem for TV owners, but it‘s up to you. In this price range, you can find comparable devices from Optoma that are superior.
