The equipment of the LG HU915QE projector includes 3700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 with a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 display. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 38 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 618 cm can be illuminated with 3700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 412 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for optional Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of LG's current product range.
