As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Proxima DP6870 is equipped with 3500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 500:1. According to Proxima, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
