The projector DP6500X by Proxima utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Proxima.
