The equipment of the Plus U5 512 projector includes 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 with a SVGA 800 x 600 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 369 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 246 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Plus.
