The equipment of the Liesegang soho 21 projector includes 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. According to Liesegang, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 232 cm. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Liesegang's current product range. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.

Have connected the Liesegang SOHO 21 via S-VHS to the DVD player.
I get the familiar mediocre picture, but also a vertical black bar in the middle of the picture.
What could be the reason for this and are there other ways of connecting the DVD player to the projector to get a better picture?
