A projector from Liesegang is the dv • 5000 vario, whose LCD model delivers 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 800:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 411 cm. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Liesegang's current product range.
